The project “ONE MIC AFRICA” is an endeavor that is based on the original intention of Oneness, in Africa and for Africa. Before now, the unity of Africa has been of lip service, whereas nobody did an actual thing about it.
ONE MIC AFRICA is a machinery instigated as a clarion call; it is geared towards a revival and the emancipation of the Africa mind therefore employing Music and its different genres as a tool for this mission.
The project is created for television and a viewing audience, this entails that the project will be filmed and aired for the viewing pleasure of the entire African audience, both at home and in diaspora.
There will be an ensemble of music makers from Nigeria and other parts of Africa coming together under one auspice to perform their music and of any genre, the idea is to create a platform for grass root music and musicians, up and coming artists and mainstream artists to further elaborate on the Africa music, therefore identifying with the international congregation and redirecting its attention back home.
